They are René Goscinny and Jean-Jacques Sempé, both world-famous in comics and drawing… Goscinny and his illustrator Albert Uderzo invented the powerful Gauls Asterix and Obelix and led them to world fame. Sempé sketched the French bourgeoisie in countless delicate drawings and dozens of covers for the American magazine The New Yorker painted.
