Lionel Messi suspended for two weeks by PSG after his trip to Saudi Arabia

As we revealed earlier today, PSG were considering sanctioning Lionel Messi, who left for two days in Saudi Arabia without the club’s agreement. The capital club took action. The Argentine has been suspended for two weeks by his club with immediate effect. He will not be able to play or train, and will not be paid during this fortnight.

Messi will therefore miss the next two Championship matches, Sunday in Troyes (8:45 p.m.) and against AC Ajaccio on May 13 (9 p.m.). He could return to Auxerre on May 21.
