STORY: Welcome to the world of Teddy Hobbs. The four-year-old Briton not only counts to a hundred in French, but also in several languages, including Mandarin. He taught himself to read when he was two years old. In an interview with the BBC, his mother Beth said she noticed her son’s thirst for knowledge when he was only interested in educational television during a corona lockdown. “I remember asking others in our WhatsApp group, does any kid act like that? And the answers were no.” The little one is now the youngest member of the gifted club Mensa in Great Britain. He was admitted to this exclusive club at the age of three after completing the intelligence test with 139 out of a possible 160 points.
