Monaco – Metz (4-0): the great week of ASM
Performing in Marseille (0-0) and Nice (1-0), during his last two trips, FC Metz, 19th in Ligue 1, did not this time weigh very heavily in Monaco, which swept him away (4-0). Lorraine goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja, already at fault on Wednesday’s second goal against Montpellier (1-3), again weighed down his team. First of all, by poorly ensuring a recovery, which benefited Tchouaméni and especially Sofiane Diop (2nd), author of the right foot of his fifth goal of the season in L1 (on a release from Martins).

The goal of Elye Wahi (28th) – already scorer and passer on Wednesday in Metz, during the 3-1 success of the MHSC – a superb recovery wound from the inside of the right, on a discount from Mollet, was enough in Montpellier to dispose of Clermont (1-0). Reims – Angers (1-2): the SCO finally knew how to take advantage
We could believe that Angers would not take full advantage of his numerical superiority, which arose following the expulsion of Rémois Valon Berisha, warned twice in nine minutes for faults on Boufal (27th) and Cabot (36th). Because after taking the advantage thanks to Boufal (50th), on a penalty obtained for a hand from Matusiwa, the SCO was joined by courageous Champenois, again on a penalty, transformed by Ekitike (59th), following a Doumbia’s fault on Foket and which had to be withdrawn, and rightly so. But on a jewel of a pass from Boufal, decidedly very decisive, Fulgini offered, with his left foot (76th), a precious success to Angers (2-1), which thus rose to seventh place.
Lorient-Nantes (0-1): the FCN to revive
After five unsuccessful matches in Ligue 1 (three losses, two draws), FC Nantes needed to revive. At the end of a bitter match, Antoine Kombouaré’s men finally got there, thanks to an action of two players who entered the game. Served by Bukari, Cyprien controlled from the right and scored his first goal in the pivot from the left with the Canaries, where he arrived this summer (83rd). Thus beaten (0-1), Lorient, sixteenth in L 1, continues his sad series.
