Ligue 1 at € 12.99 per month on Amazon Prime for those who have already subscribed to the service

Since the acquisition on June 11 of 80% of the TV rights to Ligue 1 by Amazon, it was obvious that the e-commerce giant was going to create its own channel in France, the question being the price of the subscription. It will therefore be necessary to pay € 12.99 per month to watch Prime Video Ligue 1, but a condition adds to the bill. The service will be available only to Amazon Prime service subscribers (€ 5.99 per month or € 49 per year).

The channel will be launched on August 1 for the Champions Trophy between PSG and Lille. Prime Video Ligue 1 will then broadcast eight matches per day, including the Sunday evening match (at 8:45 p.m.) including the ten best posters. Small subtlety to attract customers: the Champions Trophy match as well as the Sunday evening program will be broadcast “unencrypted” … for all Prime subscribers.

Regarding the broadcast of Ligue 2, which begins on July 24, Amazon says it has partnered with the channel L’Equipe.
