Lichtenfels:Car rams into gas distribution house

In an accident in Lichtenfels, a car damaged a gas distributor house and ran the risk of falling onto the adjacent railroad tracks. Who drove the car on Friday night is so far unclear, as a spokesman announced on Sunday. When the police arrived, gas was clearly audible from the distribution box. The fire brigade came and the scene of the accident and the railway line were closed as a precaution. In the car sat a 44-year-old man with an alcohol level of over one per thousand, a 46-year-old woman and a young person. Nobody got hurt. The car had to be towed. According to the police, there are different statements as to which of the two adults drove. The total damage was around 30,000 euros.
