In good times, the three Cs of politics are: conflict, communication, compromise. But in bad times: crisis, war, catastrophe. In our times, which offer a great intersection of good and bad controversies, the mixing of the many Ks leads to confusion even in the most composed people. A festival in the name of the enlightener Gotthold Ephraim Lessing, as the Hamburg Thalia Theater has been organizing every year since 2009, can therefore ask categorically what art could contribute to the coma of war.
