A leaker reveals more details about the design of the Apple iPhone 15 series. Accordingly, all four models get a display that is rounded off on all sides, allowing for a smoother transition into the frame. Narrower screen edges are also to be expected in the top model.

According to the latest information from the leaker ShrimpApplePro Apple iPhone 15 Ultra gets narrower screen bezels compared to iPhone 14 Pro Max (approx. 1,449 euros on Amazon), whereby the screen size of all four iPhone 15 models is to be taken directly from the iPhone 14 series, i.e. Apple continues to offer two models with a 6.1-inch display and two with a 6.7-inch screen.

The Dynamic Island will be introduced on the base model for the first time, while the entire iPhone 15 series will receive a curved front glass, similar to what is already known from the Apple Watch Series 8. In other words, the glass in front of the screen is rounded off on all four sides, allowing for a smoother transition to the frame, which is made of aluminum or titanium, depending on the model. However, the leaker emphasizes that the AMOLED panel itself is not curved. Apple’s Ceramic Shield is said to continue to protect the screen from falls.

The designer Volodymyr has already shared the concept images embedded below to visualize these design tweaks. As a result, Apple uses a subtle curvature on the front and back, but this changes little in the basic look of the devices. More details on the design should become available in the coming months when the first render images based on internal CAD data are released as usual, but so far all rumors point to minor design adjustments instead of a brand new look. The Taptic Buttons could still improve the user experience.
