Landshut – Senior falls on the window ledge – Bavaria

In a Landshut hospital, the fire brigade rescued a 91-year-old from a window ledge on the fourth floor. Nursing staff first looked for the man on Thursday night because he was no longer in his room, the police reported. A helicopter was also included in the search. Eventually the senior was discovered on a ledge on the window on the fourth floor of the clinic. According to the information he climbed out of the window and then fell on the wide window sill. “The man was really very lucky that he did not fall down there. It’s 15 meters deep,” said a police spokesman. The 91-year-old was finally rescued by means of the fire brigade’s turntable ladder. He had only minor wounds from the fall.
