The debate should be interesting. To discuss the ban on bullfighting, this Thursday, November 24 on Touche pas à mon poste, the activist Solveig Halloin, described by Cyril Hanouna as a “charged activist”, and his opponents Yannis Ezziadi, a journalist passionate about bullfighting and matador Marc Serrano. It all starts with a news item: the bill ofAymeric Caron to ban this tradition where a man and a bull fight and which ends with the killing of the animal.
On the set, the columnists vote: a few “no” against a lot of “yes” to the question “should we ban bullfighting Marc Serrano, on set, denounces the end of a tradition dear to the peoples of the south. The activist walks around the set, looking serious and with her arm still raised. The guest matador explains that the animal “deserves a dignified death” by “putting its own life in danger” and Gilles Verdez announces that it wants “a total ban” by calling matadors “murderers”. Jean Marie Bigard says he has already attended the show and says he “vomited on it”. When his opponents try to speak again, Solveig Halloin tries to hide them from the camera by standing in front.

The activist who walks on the set does not let anyone speak. She cuts off the columnists and guests: “I am here to be the spokesperson for the martyrs (…) Free the martyrs!” she denounces. The debate is cut short when no one can speak because of Solveig Halloin. His behavior causes both weariness and hilarity on the tray. The matador decides to leave the show in the face of his opponent’s behavior.
On Twitter, Internet users are shocked at the scene they are witnessing. For many of them, this guest spoils a necessary debate. They consider that inviting Solveig Halloin was a mistake and that it completely serves the cause.
