Concretely, and while the star striker of the Blues has until July 31, 2023 to exercise this one-year option, he would in this case enter his last year of contract this summer. A configuration which is generally accompanied by a big blur, even if the PSG showed in 2021 that it was ready not to sell its flagship player, even if it meant losing him without (crazy) severance pay. Nevertheless, after having communicated with great fanfare last year on an extension until 2025 of his scorer, this new episode in the Mbappé saga would be a hell of a snub for the management of the Parisian club, if he were to be confirmed.
And above all, it would still imply from this summer a transfer window of all the uncertainties, including about the centerpiece of the Parisian project therefore. According to The Team, this prospect of seeing Kylian Mbappé at the end of his contract in 2024 would not unduly worry PSG, which has already succeeded on several occasions in convincing him to stay, including when Real Madrid put down 200 million euros on the table in 2021 to recruit him.
