Chelsea, Barcelona, Madrid, the main thing is to get away! Kylian Mbappé’s future is bright but unfortunately has to wait. His club Paris Saint-Germain have banned him from the first team – where is the superstar headed?
Neymar’s father denies transfer rumours
Where: Neymar! Perhaps the most expensive player in the world to date will no longer play with the future most expensive player in the world (Mbappé). Unless the football god has hidden a particularly clever twist in the script, but none of those involved want that. So Neymar, the unfinished one, is also pulling away from Paris Saint-Germain. At least that’s what interested circles, presumably his advisers, are saying. The goal should be FC Barcelona, where the Brazilian has spent his best time so far. Father Neymar denies. Naturally.
run away! In any case, both want to leave the French capital. As did Lionel Messi. Kylian Mbappé is drawn to somewhere with more money and more fame. The guest appearance of Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia in one of the last episodes was convincing: 300 million euros transfer fee. PSG were of course immediately hooked, not least because the club is owned by Qatari Nasser al Khelaifi. From a local rivalry point of view alone, it would be great if a Saudi could wrestle so much money from a Qatari. Mbappé would have received an annual salary of 200 million euros or more. But he doesn’t want to.
Chelsea, Barcelona, Madrid, the main thing is to get away! Flashback to early summer 2023. The French superstar makes it clear that he will leave Paris after his contract ends in 2024. His goal: Real Madrid. The affection is of course based on mutuality, alone: dear money. If Los Blancos wanted him immediately, they would have to dig deep into their pockets. PSG would like that. On the other hand, he would be available free of charge in a year, i.e. free of charge. PSG didn’t like that. What to do?

A look into the glass ball reveals: the tablecloth between the Parisians has been cut. Coach Enrique will not give his golden foot a minute more. So either Real Madrid puts on the donation pants or Mbappé takes off his kicker shorts. Or unexpected rescue angels appear! With the FCs from Chelsea, Barcelona and Liverpool, three top clubs are said to be interested in loaning the 24-year-old for a year.
At Chelsea, however, he could meet Neymar again, who is also associated with the Londoners. Nobody can imagine that he would play for the Catalan arch-rival for a year before joining Madrid, and Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp simply laughs away the loan rumors with his usual teeth.
And Paris Saint Germain? Just shop as if nothing had happened: the transfer of the Portuguese Gonçalo Ramos from Benfica Lisbon (as a loan with an option to buy) is already certain. In addition, Ousmane Dembélé from FC Barcelona should come and maybe they will also buy Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani. With the latter, they could then thwart Bayern if their Harry Kane deal goes awry and they could use a striker of that caliber. Although: Kylian Mbappé would also be available …
