Kostas Papanastasiou, who was born in 1937 in Karditsa, Greece, embodied the innkeeper Panaiotis Sarikakis, who ran the “Acropolis” in “Lindenstrasse”. He played the role that made him famous from 1985 to 1996. In addition to acting, Papanastasiou appeared as a musician. In Berlin he also ran a Greek pub that also gave concerts. His son took over in 2018. In 2012 Kostas Papanastasiou was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his social commitment.
