The list of German-language football podcasts is long, and former professionals in particular keep trying their hand at the talk format. But current footballers also talk about their sport, like the Kroos and Hummels brothers, for example. Marcel Reif (71) dedicates himself to an average of one half plus stoppage time in the podcast “Reif is live – football podcast from BILD” King football. The podcast has been appearing at irregular intervals since mid-September. Not all listeners like the fact that record champions Bayern Munich seem to be one of Reif’s favorite topics. Finally, BILD with “Bayern Insider” another podcast in which the football boss of “Sport Bild” Christian Falk (43) devotes himself solely to the most successful German football club.
Wild league
Of the “Wild League” podcast from the football culture magazine “11 Freunde” can only be heard on the Amazon offer “Audible”. Every Thursday a new episode appears, the “11 Friends” authors Philipp Köster, Ilja Behnisch, Max Dinkelaker and Jens Kirschneck discuss current football topics with guests. Those who add the podcast to their “Audible” library have access to more than 170 episodes.
