Katie Holmes (43) brought back a fashion trend from the 2000s for the Jingle Ball Concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City. At the event hosted by radio station iHeartRadio, the actress surprised everyone with a Y2K look. For this she combined a dress with jeans.
For the event, Holmes opted for a navy blue strapless mini dress. The Hollywood star combined casual blue jeans with frayed hems and black sneakers from New Balance. The actress wore her brunette hair in light beach waves. In addition, she relied on minimalist jewelry: sapphire earrings and a silver nose ring rounded off the flashy outfit.
She was already a trendsetter back then
The look is reminiscent of her Dawson’s Creek series, which brought her breakthrough and international recognition. The cult series, in which she played Joey Potter, ran from 1998 to 2003. Back then, her character had a penchant for dungarees.
