After several wacky action films, Kate Beckinsale took a pair of leggings to the hospital.
Kate Beckinsale (48) has on the show by James Corden (43) described how her last hospital stay came in mid-September.
Corden assumed that she was injured while filming, “fell off a house or something,” he said. But no: “I’ve made about eight to 900 action films, but I get injured in a hotel room while putting on leggings,” Beckinsale clarified.
As the actress goes on to say, it felt like “some kind of guitar string broke and everything was terrible”. The pain was worse than having a baby. “I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t lie down, I couldn’t sit. I couldn’t do anything.”
“They picked me up like a sausage”
Because she could not leave the hotel room either, an ambulance had to be called. “At some point an ambulance came and they rolled out a sheet and picked me up like a sausage and laid me on a stretcher.”
Shortly afterwards, however, the all-clear was given. At the time, she shared a picture from the hospital on Instagram with her followers and wrote: “I already feel much better. Thank you so much for your lovely messages. Dear x”.
