Thomas Vieweg was 35 and had just decided with his wife to build a house. That’s when the first bankruptcy hit his family. That was in 2009. He already had two children and was a normal works council member in the Karstadt branch at the Lorenzkirche in Nuremberg. He still works there today, in men’s outerwear.
