Karlsfeld: Senior Advisory Board elected – Dachau

1856 Karlsfeld residents chose their senior citizens’ advisory board by postal vote, 84 letters were invalid, and the turnout was around 32 percent. All citizens who have reached the age of 60 on the day of the election and who have had their headquarters in the municipality for at least three months were allowed to vote. Most votes went to Siegfried Weber and Heidemarie Hofer, the nine-member advisory board also consists of Barbara Fuchs, Günter Krebs, Wolfgang Hesse, Christa Matzke, Margit Gruber, Annabella Elsner and Helga Ischimbet, substitute member is Elke Hackberger. The chairmen of the committee are elected in the constitutive meeting, Heinz-Peter Wilhelm resigned for reasons of age – as did Hans Eberle. In the first meeting, the members also develop projects for the coming three-year election period.

Advisor Günter Krebs has been a member of the Seniors’ Advisory Board for nine years and would like to campaign for a public toilet in the planned Anna Quarter on the Ludl site. The committee recently published an overview of toilets in Karlsfeld that are available to the public. In addition, the members organize excursions, specialist lectures and music events, the date for the senior citizens’ afternoon on Wednesday, September 21, has already been set.
