The days of prohibition are long gone… If Kamala Harris wins the American elections, it is certain that beer will make a comeback at the White House. At least that’s what she revealed during a comedy show Tuesday evening while sharing a beer with famous presenter Stephen Colbert.
The Democratic candidate opened a can of Miller High life, a famous American lager, on the set of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, breaking with the last two tenants of the White House, Donald Trump and Joe Biden, who do not don’t drink.
The comedian revealed to the audience that the show’s writers had checked in advance what they had to serve “because you can’t just offer the Vice President of the United States a drink.”
The appearance is part of a media campaign that has also seen Kamala Harris sit down with the hosts of “The View” and give a lengthy interview to Howard Stern on the SiriusXM radio channel.

As with the latter, the program “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” took place in a friendly atmosphere which did not give rise to in-depth questions, this satirical show often mocking Donald Trump.
Moreover, when the name of her Republican opponent was brought up on the show, the candidate for the White House rushed to tackle him: “You know, when you have lost millions of jobs, that you have lost businesses, you lost car factories, you lost elections, what does that make you? A loser,” she said. “That’s what happens when I drink beer,” she joked.
