The problem: Affected computers no longer start after installing the update; instead, the infamous “Blue Screen” (sometimes also the “Green Screen of Death”) greets the user. The computer then keeps trying to restart and gets stuck in a loop.
According to one user, his device got stuck on the start screen and the last option was to restore the Windows version before the update. According to “PC Welt”, the two laptop models Asus TUF A15 and ROG Strix G17 are particularly affected. However, the problem may not only affect these computers.
As other users report, the update also meant that they could no longer use their mouse and keyboard. The update also apparently unintentionally cut off Wi-Fi connections.
