In the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow there is a picture by the painter Kazimir Malevich, who is considered one of the most important representatives of modern painting: it simply shows a black square on a white background. The perfection of abstraction, a work that is completely irrelevant, that only has a possible connection to reality in a roundabout way.
