The jungle camp is entering a new round. These candidates have the most followers on Instagram.
The 17th season of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!” (from January 19, 2024 on RTL or at any time on RTL+) is in the starting blocks. The field of candidates includes actors, reality stars, musicians, athletes and models. Who brings the most? Instagram followers with you into the jungle and can hope for a lot of fan support?
A social media star tops the list
Twenty4Tim (23) is an influencer and singer. With around 2.6 million Instagram followers (as of January 18th), he leads the social media list among jungle campers. According to RTL, the 23-year-old, who released his debut album “Phoenix” in 2023, has 7.5 million cumulative subscribers on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Actor Felix von Jascheroff (41) moves into the camp with a large distance but also a considerable number of followers. The “GZSZ” star has 409,000 followers.
Mike Heiter (31) has become a reality star with his appearances on “Love Island”, “Sommerhaus der Stars”, “Battle of the Reality Stars” and “Are you the One – Reality Stars in love”. This also gave him social media reach: his Instagram account, which has been made private, has 391,000 subscribers. Cora Schumacher (47), model and racing driver, has 236,000 followers.
Behind her are other reality TV stars: Kim Virginia (28), known from formats such as “Bachelor in Paradise” or “Are You The One – Realitystars in Love”, has 199,000 followers on her (private) account. “Make Love Fake Love” and “Are You The One – Reality Stars in Love” candidate Fabio Knez (30) has 133,000 Instagram fans behind him. Leyla Lahouar (27), who took part in “Ex on the Beach”, “The Bachelor” and “Bachelor in Paradise”, has around 109,000 subscribers.
An actor brings up the rear
Lucy Diakovska (47), a singer, is also moving to the camp. The No Angels girl group member has 54,800 followers on Instagram. Her band has a similar number on their official Instagram account with around 58,000 followers. Designer Sarah Kern (55), who became the cover star of the German “Playboy” edition shortly before moving into the jungle camp, has around 43,500 Instagram subscribers.
Former professional footballer and national team player David Odonkor (39) brings reality experience with his “Celebrity Big Brother” victory. He is followed by 24,200 subscribers. Whether “GNTM” model Anya Elsner (20) can increase her reach through the jungle camp? She “only” has around 9,500 followers. Actor and “Das Boot” star Heinz Hoenig (72) brings up the rear with his unverified account and around 3,600 followers.
