In his new documentary series “Joko Winterscheidt Presents: The World’s Most Dangerous Show”, moderator Joko Winterscheidt (44) addresses the effects of the climate crisis or how it is in the first trailer means “the greatest challenge of our generation” and “the most important issue of our time”.

Blatant images of floods and other catastrophes are shown, as well as people’s fears and helplessness. “An unexpected adventure with uncomfortable truths,” summarizes the trailer. But the deeper Winterscheidt dives into the complex topic, the more one question arises: “How fundamentally does our social system have to change in order to avert the catastrophe?”

Joko Winterscheidt is looking for “hope”

The documentary series not only shows the bad effects of the climate crisis. “What we are looking for in this documentary is hope,” promises the moderator in the trailer. In order to find out whether it isn’t already too late for the ideas and solutions, he travels to “places that are already directly affected by climate change, meets committed people who have taken up the fight against hopelessness with innovative ideas and gets to their limits and made our own contradictions clear”.

The ProSieben star is not the only celebrity to be seen in the documentary series. Christoph Maria Herbst (57) and Uwe Ochsenknecht (67) are also present in short sequences.

The six-part documentary will be available exclusively on Prime Video for Prime members starting June 7th.
