New episodes of “The Duel Around the World” coming soon

Joko, Klaas and their celebrity teams will deliver “The Duel Around the World” again from the beginning of October. Three new episodes have been announced.
One of the popular formats of the ProSieben all-purpose weapons Joko Winterscheidt (44) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (39) will soon start a new round. “The Duel Around the World” returns on Saturday, October 7 at 8:15 p.m. with the first of three new episodes, the broadcaster announces.
According to a press release, the two TV presenters are sending their celebrity teams “on insane, breathtaking, dizzying and dangerous journeys to foreign countries”. At the moment, however, it is not yet known which celebrities will face the wacky challenges this time.
Fans can probably look forward to well-known candidates. Singer Lena Meyer-Landrut (32), her colleague Alexander Klaws (39), TV chef Tim Mälzer (52), presenter Linda Zervakis (48), actor Axel Stein (41), rapper Sido have been there in recent seasons (42) or moderator and entrepreneur Verona Pooth (55).
What is “The Duel Around the World” about?
In “The Duel Around the World” Winterscheidt and Heufer-Umlauf send the celebrities to a wide variety of countries where they have to complete unusual tasks. If they succeed, they earn a point for Team Joko or Team Klaas. In the studio, the moderators then also face challenges from which they can collect further points. Whoever has the most points at the end of the respective edition will be named “World Champion”.
