Joko and Klaas wanted the ratings on ProSieben to go to zero on Wednesday with the 15 minutes they gained. Vain.

With their victory in the TV show “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben” on Tuesday (May 3), the eponymous Joko Winterscheidt (43) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (38) earned 15 freely available minutes for “Joko & Klaas live” ( 8:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) on Wednesday (4.4.).

In past programs, viewers were often presented with Grimme Prize-endowed content. The two TV stars were able to win the valuable quarter of an hour two weeks ago. The audience got a live concert from a Ukrainian bunker to see in which the band Selo i Ludy fought for survival.

“Joko & Klaas live” with the failed zero rate

Different this time. Yesterday, Wednesday, Joko and Klaas had a surprising goal. “We have decided to lower ProSieben’s rate to zero with your help. Maximum failure for everyone involved. Project 0.0 percent,” explained Klaas. Joko added that they wanted to be “anti-entertaining and so boring” until the very last person had switched off.

The two moderators were shown in a row of people dressed uniformly in black. In addition, irrelevant background music and the display of the alternative program running in parallel on other channels. On Twitter it was said on the account for the show: “And what are you doing at 8:15 p.m.? Because watching ProSieben is not an option.” Or: “Welcome” to Project 0.0%. “Welcome” to 15 minutes of #JKLame. Feel free to switch.” Or: “Boring, isn’t it?”

But the ratings the next day show the failure. “Of course 0.0… #JKlive achieved a market share of a very strong 13.7 percent (14-49 y.) yesterday with… nothing. How do you like that, Joko and Klaas? Who’s laughing today? #JKlame “, the station asked on its Twitter page.

Joko and Klaas posted this post on the short message service page of their show and wrote: “How could you do that to us”.

The overall ranking

Overall, the ranking for the number of viewers in prime time looked like this: “You’ll never get it!” (ZDF) watched 3.26 million. 2.84 million tuned in to “The price is hot” (RTL). “Die Glücksspieler” (Das Erste) still wanted to see 2.48 million. 1.03 million tuned in to “Friedmanns Vier” (VOX). Then came “Joko & Klaas. Live” with its 0.98 million viewers – the number dropped to 0.96 million on “TV total”, which was broadcast afterwards. The feature film “Spiel auf Probation” (Kabel eins) attracted 0.89 million. “Kampf der Realitystars” (RTLzwei) recorded 0.83 million and the start of “Club der Gute Mood” (Sat.1) 0.73 million.

In terms of target group market share, “The price is hot” won. Second place went to “Joko & Klaas live”.

The next edition of “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben” will be broadcast on Tuesday, May 10 at 8:15 p.m.
