Mustard frost and charred eyebrows: Joko and Klaas are losing again – and face bleak prospects

With Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf the worm is in there. In season six of “Joko & Klaas against ProSieben” it doesn’t really want to work out with the win – they got the next defeat. This is their punishment.
It’s just not going well in the sixth season: Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf are struggling to win. In the battle against the broadcaster on “Joko & Klaas versus ProSieben” there was one defeat after the next. The successful duo could not assert themselves on Tuesday evening either. The record so far: three defeats, a silly victory.
According to Heufer-Umlauf, “Germany’s most stupid company” really cannot be accused of the fact that the broadcaster would not come up with anything for its show tasks. The team lured the duo to the studio roof prior to taping the show and locked out the presenters. They should somehow make it to the studio by the time the show starts.

“You’re killing me,” said Winterscheidt, while Heufer-Umlauf abseiled down the facade. The 39-year-old wanted to pick up his colleague in the basket of a cherry picker, but he flatly refused. Everyone knows that they are afraid of heights, said Winterscheidt and stayed on the roof. The first task was lost and Heufer-Umlauf had to start the show without his long-time partner, but with moderator Steven Gätjen.
The second game was better. One had to give the other clues to a song with different objects. Among other things, the ProSieben couple won with two “kissing” bananas, which were supposed to represent Katy Perry’s song “I Kissed a Girl”, and thus the first advantage. Game three, in which different things should be done as quickly as possible but also carefully, was won by the team in a duel against Bloodhound gang rocker “Evil” Jared Hasselhoff and actor Simon Gosejohann as well.
Winterscheidt: “I have mustard frost”
In the fourth challenge, Winterscheidt was allowed to eat several spoonfuls of mustard. “I have mustard freezes,” he whined, referring to what many may know as a “brain freeze” when you eat ice cream too quickly. Meanwhile, Heufer-Umlauf got a soccer ball on its butt at 80 km/h. The next advantage for the duo. Game five, a quiz against the author Sophie Passmann and “Gemischtes Hack” podcaster Tommi Schmitt, was also won by the moderator duo. Just like the last game, a fire relay race, in which, after several stations and a flaming sleeve in the meantime, they ignited a shower of sparks in the studio.
With five out of six possible advantages, they finally went into the final “Kentucky screams flipping”, a challenge that the two had already failed in show two. You should throw several objects in such a way that after a full rotation, they land on their underside and remain standing, similar to the “bottle flip” challenge that has become popular on the Internet in recent years. The floor lamp, which was problematic for them two weeks ago, was exchanged for a children’s slide, but this time they actually failed because of the water bottle, which is classic for this task.
As of today, they have to present the weather in ProSieben’s “Newstime” every evening for a week as a punishment. “Good prospects – for us”, as the broadcaster jokes on Twitter. The show’s season finale airs May 23 at 8:15 p.m
