In addition to some witnesses, only Depp himself has been on the witness stand, Heard will first be questioned. The process will take a total of six weeks. Johnny Depp against Amber Heard: She accuses him of sexual violence
Right at the beginning of the process, the respective defense lawyers brought out their hard artillery. If it was already known that Heard Depp accused violence, her lawyers expanded the allegations. The actor is said to have sexually abused his ex-wife.
However, Depp’s defense attorneys fired right back, saying the strategy was to sway the jury “for the purpose of Hollywood shock value, which Amber has mastered and used to exploit a serious social movement.”
His sound engineer accuses Heard of bad behavior
Johnny Depp’s sound engineer Keenan Wyatt testified on the witness stand and reported an incident that is said to have taken place on board a private jet. In 2014 he traveled with the ex-couple from Boston to Los Angeles, among others. Heard ignored him and when he spoke to her she is said to have screamed. “All of a sudden she freaked out and started yelling at me. ‘How dare you talk to me? Get away from me.’ So I went back to my seat and mind my own business,” he said on the witness stand. “Suddenly it was loud. It was a quiet plane – suddenly it got very loud.”
Wyatt also testified that he had never seen Johnny Depp verbally abuse anyone.
Johnny Depp opens up about his traumatic childhood
The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star got emotional on the witness stand while recounting his childhood. He called his own mother, Betty Sue Palmer, “pretty cruel” and described how violent she was towards him. He sees parallels between himself and his father, who always remained stoic despite Palmer’s outbreaks of violence.
His sister, Christi Dembrowski, confirmed his testimony and said that she and her brother previously vowed never to continue the violence in their family. “As we got older, we decided that once we had our own home, we would never repeat anything similar to what we did when we were kids,” Dembrowski said.
His children never liked Heard
Depp’s statements regarding his two children with Vanessa Paradis, Lily-Rose Depp and Jack Depp are also interesting. What was not previously known: Lily-Rose Depp even skipped her father’s wedding. “My daughter Lily-Rose didn’t come to the wedding. Johnny Depp and Amber Heard stuck with personal physician Dr. David Kipper and nurse Debbie Lloyd in Australia. Depp shot the film “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” there.
Depp wrote a text message to Kipper and asked him for help because he had cut off his fingertip. “What should I do? Except go to a hospital of course. I’m so embarrassed that I got involved with her,” he wrote to him. Kipper could not make any statement about the course of events, but Debbie Lloyd could.
When she came into the house, it was devastated.
