Visit from the most powerful man in the world: US President Joe Biden will appear in a new episode of James Corden’s “The Late Late Show”.

For the first time since 2019, James Corden (43) will be broadcasting from London again next week with his “The Late Late Show”. A whole series of well-known stars were won as guests for this special occasion – including the incumbent President of the United States of America, Joe Biden (79). He will appear in one of the episodes in the pre-taped “Take a Break” segment, as the US site “Variety” reports.

Corden will be allowed to try his hand at it as Biden’s personal assistant in the White House. “The level of access we had was pretty crazy,” the comedian and presenter is quoted as saying. “We really spent a whole day there filming everywhere. We shot in the press room, in the Oval Office, in the kitchen, in the hallways.”

Corden gets sentimental

For the second time, Corden was allowed into the power center of the US President, the Oval Office. “First time with the First Lady [Michelle] under the Obama administration and now with President Biden. The whole thing is a big thing for remembering the show,” says the moderator. What he is talking about is clear: next year he will be the moderator of the “Late Late Show”, like he did in April of this year had communicated.

“This will be my final year hosting the show,” Corden said on the show at the time. “When I started this journey, it was always meant to be just that: a journey, an adventure. I never saw it as my ultimate goal.” He always wanted to do the show with love: “And I really think that in a year’s time it will be a good time to move on and see what else there could be.” Corden took over the show in 2015 from his Scottish colleague Craig Ferguson (60).

These stars are still there

Four episodes of “The Late Late Show” will air from June 27th to 30th from Freemasons’ Hall in central London. Other guests include Vin Diesel, 54, Billie Eilish, 20, Ed Sheeran, 31, John Boyega, 30, Alanis Morissette, 48, and David Harbor, 47, to name a few.
