7:59 p.m. : Emmanuel Macron, questioned in The Hague on the hypothesis of sending combat planes to Ukraine, replies that “nothing is prohibited in principle”. But the Head of State lists many criteria which he believes should be met: a “request made” by Ukraine, that this does not “be not escalatory” and “not likely to touch Russian soil” and “it does not come to weaken the capacity of the French army”.

7:55 p.m. : The challenge of this Franco-Australian meeting was not only diplomatic: the two countries announced that they were going to deliver to Ukraine shells produced jointly by the two countries. The first deliveries to the Ukrainian army are expected as early as the first quarter of this year.

5:58 p.m. : Norway plans to send Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine “as fast as possible”, said the Norwegian Minister of Defense, hinting that these deliveries could take place at the end of March. The number of tanks affected has not been confirmed.
