The American actor was injured while clearing snow this Sunday, January 1 in Nevada, around 9:50 a.m. According to the American media TMZ, the snow-clearing machine used by the latter – called Snowcat – is said to have accidentally rolled over one of Jeremy Renner’s legs, causing severe blood loss. According to our colleagues from across the Atlantic, a neighbor would have tried to put a tourniquet on the wound of the actor while waiting for the arrival of help.
In a “critical but stable” state
“We can confirm that Jeremy is in critical but stable condition following a weather-related accident while clearing snow,” an unidentified relative was quoted as saying by The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline on Sunday.
“His family is with him and he is very well cared for,” he added, without specifying the conditions in which the accident occurred or its location. According to other media, the actor would be hospitalized in the city of Reno in Nevada.
Also according to TMZ, citing a source close to the actor, Jeremy Renner’s injuries would be “extensive”, and would concern other parts of his body in addition to his leg.
