Immediately after the first episode, a star left “Celebrity Big Brother” voluntarily. Now, five days later, the next resident has thrown in the towel.
The anniversary season of “Celebrity Big Brother” started with 15 residents. Among them stars like the slug Micaela Schäfer, perfume expert Jeremy Fragrance and comedian Jörg Knör. Some of them moved in a few days before the official start, while others were only sent live into the container by Sat.1 in the opening episode. Among them was TV detective Patrick Hufen.
“I even think I would win if I stayed,” the 33-year-old is certain. Nevertheless, his decision is clear. He starved and fasted for eight days and constantly quarreled with Valentina. “Then I was rewarded with this area here. It was such a win for me that I say I’ll finish it when it’s at its best.”
But there’s another reason why Jeremy Fragrance is abandoning the experiment. However, the TikTok star wants to keep it to himself. And so the perfume expert, who polarized the most in the anniversary season, is leaving the luxury sector two weeks before the finale. “I know it’s gross, but it’s my decision.”
“We’re a little stunned”
Marlene Lufen and Jochen Schropp are surprised by this decision. “We’re a bit stunned because we actually got to know Jeremy Fragrance as a really great resident and would have liked to have had him here,” says the presenter before welcoming the resident to the studio for the last time.
There, too, Jeremy Fragrance tells the moderators his motives again. Jochen Schropp believes there is a set game behind it. “You know why I’m a little bit disappointed? Because I feel a little bit like you walked in here and you said to yourself from the start, ‘I’ll stay in here for a week and then I’ll go.’ I actually think that’s a shame.”
Jeremy tries to justify himself. He didn’t know what to expect from “Celebrity Big Brother”. “I thought I could dust off some cash, train a little and that’s it,” said the 33-year-old. He made the decision to voluntarily leave the format on Tuesday evening when Big Brother refused to give him his third luxury item, the Gospel of John.
Now Jeremy Fragrance is out. There are currently 13 stars still in the running. The finale of “Celebrity Big Brother” will take place on December 7th.
