Jean-Michel Blanquer: who is Anna Cabana, his new companion?

Separated from his magistrate wife, Aurélia Devos, in 2020 after two years of marriage, Jean-Michel Blanquer found love again in the arms of political journalist, Anna Cabana.

And according to information from Le Parisien, the Minister of National Education would now be married, since last weekend, with the journalist.

Originally from Montpellier where she was born in 1979, Anna Cabana moved to Paris at the age of 23 to join the editorial staff of the weekly Marianne, before working at Le Point for 10 years. She then became head of the political department of the Journal du Dimanche in 2016, where she recently took over the Books section because of her affair with the Minister of National Education and Youth.

Anna Cabana also joined BFM TV 7 years ago, while conducting interviews on the i24 News channel in its program Conversations, in which she had received Jean-Michel Blanquer.

The 42-year-old journalist was the wife of Yves Cabana, son of politician Clément Cabana, who had notably been in charge of a mission to the Prime Minister in the late 1990s.

Anna Cabana is also an author, and in 2012 published the book Entre deux feus, which sold 80,000 copies, on the couple formed at the time by François Hollande and Valérie Trierweiller.
