Jane Fonda has now also caused a fashion sensation in Cannes: in an asymmetrical, sparkling dress with pants.
Jane Fonda (85) had all eyes and cameras on her during her latest appearance on the red carpet in Cannes. Below, the actress wore simple black pants with pumps. On her upper body, however, the sequins of her asymmetrical dress shimmered in competition and reached down to the floor on one side, where they spilled out in a train.
The 85-year-old didn’t hold back with her accessories either: a thick chain of silver links and matching earrings adorned her neck and ears. When it came to makeup, Fonda opted for pink lipstick.
Short hair as an act of liberation
Just the day before, she had caused a stir with her words in a panel at the film festival: for 90 minutes, the Hollywood legend answered practically all the questions she was asked. She also revealed how she once decided to cut her hair. Her long blonde hair has always made her feel “confident and feminine” Fonda explained, according to “Vulture”. But then her attitude changed: “When I started to get political, I decided to get rid of it. […] I felt so relieved.”
She is currently not planning any new projects: she is too busy fighting the climate crisis. Among other things, the activist campaigns against climate change with her organization “Jane Fonda Climate PAC”.
