Musician Jack White has married for the third time – just minutes after getting engaged.

Musician Jack White (46) had a special surprise on Friday both for visitors to his concert and for his partner Olivia Jean (32). On stage, the artist proposed to Jean. A short time later, the two are said to have said yes during the live concert. This reports, among other things the US magazine “People”.

Accordingly, White proposed to Jeans at his concert in Detroit after the performance of The White Stripes song “Hotel Yorba”. He sang the song in a duet with the The Black Belles singer before kneeling in front of her. The artist published the moment of the application later on Instagram and added the line “Let’s get married in a big cathedral by a priest.”

Marriage legal?

According to media reports, the wedding followed immediately after the engagement. “It was such a great day, do you mind if we get married right away?” White is said to have asked the audience before a small group of people took the stage. Among them were White’s mother, Jean’s father and an authorized officer. White and Jean said yes in front of numerous fans, and then the musician played his concert to the end. A rep for the singer later confirmed to People that the marriage was final.

This is Jack White’s third marriage. From 1996 to 2000 he was married to bandmate Meg White (47), whose surname he later retained as his stage name. After a failed engagement to Reneé Zellweger (52) in 2004, he married British model Karen Elson (43) in 2005. The couple, who announced their split in 2011, have two children together.
