It’s official: Diablo IV pre-orders have begun

As early as last Thursday, the first suspicions about a release date for the long-awaited fourth part of the Diablo franchise appeared. Now Blizzard is making it official and starting pre-orders for Diablo IV.

From June 6th, 2023, the action-adventure will be available for Windows PC, the Xbox Series and One as well as for Sony’s PlayStation 5 and PS4. Couch co-op is also available on consoles. “We’re excited to soon be opening the doors of our darkest version of Sanctuary yet with Diablo IV,” said Rod Fergusson, general manager for Diablo.

The demon Lilith and the angel Inarius created the world of Sanctuary together in their quest to escape the conflict between heaven and hell. But decades after the events of Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, the two are bitter enemies.

Hobby adventurers will be able to choose between five classes. These include the shapeshifting druid and the nimble hunter. You can also choose between the magician and the barbarian. Of course, the legendary necromancer should not be missing in the fourth part of Diablo.

New to the Diablo universe is a sprawling open world. Gamers will need to repel the demons of Hell across Sanctuary’s various zones to achieve victory. The fights take place in the snowy forests of the “Shattered Peaks” or the stormy highlands of Scosglen.

The adventure of Diablo IV also takes adventurers to the putrid swamps of Hawezar and the wastelands of the dry steppe, as well as the deserts of Kehjistan, where the capital city of Caldeum is located. The non-linear game experience consists of more than 140 dungeons and side quests. In addition, there are bases to be discovered throughout the game world.

In addition, the action role-playing game is backed by a long-term content system that allows players to become more powerful as they face a variety of challenges. A recurring event exists in the form of the “Menacing Infernal Tide” in which the number of demons in Sanctuary skyrockets. Furthermore, new and particularly challenging nightmare dungeons and a revised Paragon board system await. Dead Whisper, which offers legendary rewards for select bounties in the game world, and Fields of Hate, where gamers can earn glory and glory in PvP, are also on board.
