Hamas’ hostages may include a young Frenchman living in Israel. Avidan T. from Bordeaux, who has both citizenships, “was probably kidnapped by Hamas in the south of Israel,” explains French MP Meyer Habib, who represents Avidan T.’s constituency for French people living abroad, which also includes Israel. The 26-year-old had taken part in a music festival in the desert in southern Israel that was targeted by the attackers. “He could be held by the terrorists. His family, his father, with whom I spoke for a long time, have not heard from him since Saturday morning”says Habib. He informed the French authorities about concerns about T.’s whereabouts.
