Residents of the “Northern Alliance” municipalities of Garching, Ismaning, Unterschleißheim, Oberschleißheim and Unterföhring as well as Hallbergmoos, Eching and Neufahrn near Freising, companies and commuters are called upon to submit ideas and suggestions on how digital offers could improve life in the region. The municipal association takes part in the “Smart City – Smart Region” project, which is funded by the Bavarian Ministry of Construction. The aim is to develop an integrated digital concept by October, i.e. a strategy for how digital instruments can make living together more pleasant and reduce resource consumption. The focus is on the topics of mobility and housing. With its survey, the Northern Alliance wants to find out where local people see the greatest need. Suggestions could be a passenger app, co-working spaces or a call bus that can be ordered via app or by phone. Participation is possible at idek.nordallianz.de.
