iPhone 14: Front screen leak shows larger Pro displays and notch replacement

A photo of the alleged front screens of the upcoming iPhone 14 series fuels the existing rumors that the Pro devices will look different from the rest of the devices in the future. Instead of a notch, there should be a small camera hole and a pill-shaped display cutout.

The photo published on the social network Weibo (China) is said to show the front glasses of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. In addition to the changed cut-outs, the image also makes it clear that the Pro devices offer a little more screen space as a result. The aspect ratio changes from 19.5 by 9 to 20 by 9.

What is also confirmed – if the leak is correct – is the omission of a mini-iPhone. Instead, the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro should continue to have a screen diagonal of 6.1 inches (approx. 15 cm). As a 6.7-inch device, the iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a cheaper alternative of the same size in the form of the iPhone 14 Max.

Just in the last few weeks, a photo of metal castings showing the alleged back of the iPhone 14 series has been leaked. The launch of the new iPhones is expected in September.
