A coach crashed on a federal highway in Upper Bavaria, many people were injured. Numerous emergency services are on site on the federal highway 305 between Inzell (Traunstein district) and Weißbach (Berchtesgadener Land district), said a police spokesman on Saturday morning.
60 people were in the double-decker bus, 40 to 50 of them were injured in the accident. Nine passengers were seriously injured, said the police spokesman in the morning, more precise information could not be given. There are no dead. The rescue work lasted until noon, and the injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
The bus from the Beckum district in North Rhine-Westphalia left the road around 7.30 a.m. and fell down the embankment, causing the vehicle to roll over, the police said.
