No, I was never completely wrong.
Have you been a sex crimes investigator for 13 years, interviewed hundreds of victims and interviewed hundreds of suspects and never been wrong?
I would not rule out that it can happen. Anything else would be arrogant. But maybe it’s because I don’t only believe in the good in people per se. After all these years, almost nothing surprises me anymore. I try to scan and read the people sitting in front of me during an interrogation.
