Fake guillotines appeared in three municipalities in the Landes, in particular in Geaune and Samadet, last weekend. Faced with this threat, throwing revenge on the name of the city councilors, an investigation was opened by the Mont-de-Marsan prosecutor’s office for “death threats against persons holding public authority”, told AFP on attorney Olivier Janson. The mayors of the municipalities have for their part lodged a complaint.
