Tyler Edtmayer has gained quite a lot of notoriety in a fairly short period of time. The 20-year-old, who lives in Bad Tölz, was not only one of the first German skaters to compete in the Olympic Games in Tokyo, but also with a broken arm. After all, he made it to 15th place in this state. He comes to the interview in Tölz town hall without a skateboard, but with a federal eagle on his t-shirt. Mayor Ingo Mehner (CSU) wears a polo shirt. The two meet for the first time. After Edtmayer has criticized the skate infrastructure in Germany several times, they want to talk about what can be done for sport in the region. After a short time they are with you, Mehner is also a former competitive athlete. In his youth he was eighth in the German championship in biathlon.
