They are the big competition to television, but what rules apply to global streaming services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV? In France, they are legally obliged to invest up to 25 percent of the sales they earn in the country there as well – in in-house productions or purchases of European films and series. Martin Moszkowicz is CEO of Constantin Film. Constantine and her daughters were last with Blood Red Sky (Subsidiary Rat Pack Filmproduktion) and We children from Bahnhof Zoo successfully produced for Netflix and Amazon Prime. Moszkowicz is also on the board of the German producer alliance, which advocates stronger legal obligations for streaming services towards European creatives.
