Insulting messages Elon Musk projected on the company’s headquarters

Since his acquisition of the blue bird, billionaire Elon Musk has laid off more than half of the employees. On Thursday, the situation took a new turn, as scores of employees decided to resign after the new leader asked them to choose between giving their all “unconditionally” to Twitter and leaving.

As of Thursday evening, anti-Elon Musk messages were projected on the facade of the company’s headquarters in San Francisco, right next to the logo, including “Elon Musk, shut up”, “Stop toxic Twitter” or ” Forward to Bankruptcy,” according to photos by Gia Vang, a reporter for local NBC.

“Mediocre man-child”

Videos, which have gone viral on social networks, show these numerous messages projected on the building. On one of them, we could read: “Elon Musk: mediocre man-child, megalomaniac, bankrupt baby” or even “worthless billionaire, petty racist, supreme parasite”. On Wednesday, Elon Musk, owner and boss of Twitter for three weeks, asked employees of the social network individually to commit to “working long hours at high intensity”, “to build a revolutionary Twitter 2.0 and succeed in a world of more and more competitive.

“Only an exceptional performance will be worth a sufficient mark”, he specified in this internal letter. After the Tesla leader’s ultimatum, hundreds of employees chose to leave, according to several American media. “I may be exceptional, but (…) I am not unconditional”, for example tweeted Andrea Horst, whose LinkedIn profile still displays “Supply chain manager (survivor) at Twitter”. She added the hashtag “#lovewhereyouworked”, that is to say “Love the place where you worked”, like dozens of other employees announcing their choice on the platform.
