Ingolstadt: Oliver Brunner becomes artistic director – Munich

Oliver Brunner becomes the new director of the Ingolstadt City Theater. The house announced that he will take over from Knut Weber for the 2024/25 season. Weber has been artistic director since 2011/12 and is now in his 70th year in the city on the Danube for the last time. Brunner, born in 1969, is best known to the people of Munich and Augsburg. He came to the Kammerspiele as an assistant director under Dieter Dorn in 1997, moved with him to the Staatsschauspiel, where he became artistic director and deputy director. In 2012 he joined the management team in Augsburg, in 2016 in Darmstadt, from where he is now returning to Bavaria.
