Europe 1 has learned from a police and judicial source that a hostage-taking in a grocery store in the 12th arrondissement of Paris is in progress. Two women are currently kidnapped by the hostage taker, an individual known in the district to have mental disorders.

The hostage taker is an individual known in the borough to have mental disorders. He is in possession of a bladed weapon. He asks to see Eric Dupond-Moretti, the Minister of Justice. The Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI) is on site.
Following the hostage-taking in the 12th arrondissement, the Keeper of the Seals informed the negotiators that he was at their disposal. According to our information, the negotiators of the BRI obtained an identity of the madman entrenched in the stall. The hostage taker would thus be a 56-year-old Tunisian magistrate, Abderaman BJ
