Sébastien Haller suffered a shock just before the start of the season when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. The striker then had to endure chemotherapy treatment. However, the player is now on the mend and could soon be fit enough to play again. He is currently keeping fit at the training ground of his former club.
Borussia Dortmund is eagerly awaiting the return of star newcomer Sébastien Haller. He recently worked hard for his comeback – and of all things at his ex-club Ajax Amsterdam. “He asked us if he could come and train because he’s in rehab here,” said Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder on Tuesday. However, Haller does not train with his ex-colleagues on the pitch, but individually on a side pitch. Schreuder finds it “wonderful that he can be here for a while”.
