A 21-year-old died in a car accident in Upper Bavaria on Friday. She collided near Ilmmünster (Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district) head-on with a car that had entered the oncoming lane for an initially unknown reason, as the police reported on Saturday.
The 18-year-old driver of the oncoming vehicle was seriously injured. The woman died at the scene of the accident.
