And then he comes out, gaunt, wiry, immediately threatening with a poisonous snake. Steps out of the darkness as if tormented by nagging hunger, looks around, checks, sniffs, apparently decides it’s appropriate and straight away puts a couple of middle fingers in the air. Not quite sure who this is aimed at, the world at large probably, but maybe it’s just his way of waving and saying hello.
