IAA and protests in Munich: How’s it going. And how not – opinion

Climate activists are protesting against the International Motor Show in Munich, the police are cracking down on them. On the other hand, hardly anything of the necessary traffic turnaround can be seen at the IAA. About a trade fair that doesn’t deliver what it promises.

The escalation around the automobile could be followed live the whole week: At the beginning of the IAA, the International Motor Show, three patrol cars pulled up when some Greenpeace activists put up a banner in front of the VW party. Other car critics and climate protection activists had to laboriously fight for the fact that they could have enough vegan soup for everyone on their campsite, which was surrounded by the police day and night.
